The Individual Learning Plan tool (ILP) has been changed so that subject teachers now have access to old ILPs. This means that subject teachers will still see old topics and evaluations when groups are recreated for example at half year. A new setting to enable this new behaviour has been added in Admin -> Settings -> Other settings: "U20 Display old ILP's for subject teachers". This change does not affect tutors.

Old ILP's are displayed for finished templates only, that is templates with expired opening hours. A subject teacher can select his/her current groups and students and see old evaluations in the topics he/she has created or contributed in.

The change will be available in Fronter Y10 Monday 24th of January.

As announced earlier, regular maintenance of the Fronter platform will be carried out on the first Thursday of every month. Next maintenance window is scheduled for Thursday, February 3rd, 20:00 to 24:00 CET. Please note that the time frame is slightly earlier than usual, due to the number of servers being maintained.

The maintenance involves an upgrade and restart of the database servers, which means you will experience a short interruption in the availability of the platform. No installation is unavailable for more than 2-5 minutes during the aforementioned period.

Throughout 2011, regular maintenance of the Fronter platform will be carried out on the first Thursday of every month, between 23.00 and 24.00 CET.

On some occasions this maintenance work will cause a 2-5 minute loss of availability of the Fronter platform within the designated maintenance hour. If for some reason it is important to you that no such maintenance is carried out on a particular Thursday night, please let us know by contacting your customer manager within 5 working days of the maintenance window.

The pre scheduled maintenance windows are for general and minor maintenance. For any extraordinary measures you will be notified well in advance as before.

One such extraordinary measure is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 5, 2011. This involves a restart of the database servers, which means you will experience a short interruption in the availability of the platform between 19.00 and 24.00 CET on January 5, 2011. No installation should be unavailable for more than 2-5 minutes during this period.

The FAQ section of the support site has recently been updated with a few new FAQ entries. They involve the Question Database tool, Open-Edit-Save, and language settings.
