Below are a few examples of ways you can move a room.

1. Easy: Move the room from one corridor to another.

  • Go into the room you wish to move.
  • Click on the room tool on the left hand side.
  • Click on the "choose" drop down menu at the top right.
  • Choose ‘Edit properties’.
  • Click the ‘move room’ option under the current org unit.
  • In the drop down menu next to ‘Org. unit (corridor):’ choose the new corridor you want to move the room to.
  • Scroll to the bottom and click save.

You may need to refresh the page (F5) before you see the change.

2. Difficult: Export the room to your computer then re-import the copy into another corridor.

Advantage: You retain a local copy of the room and can re-import it multiple times.

  • Go into the room.
  • Click on the room tool on the left hand side.
  • Click on the ‘choose’ drop down menu at the top right.
  • Choose "Export".
  • Choose "Fronter room export" and select your email account.
  • Click Export.
  • You will be sent a link to export the room to your system which will be active for a week.
  • Save the file to your computer.
  • Click on ‘room’ then choose ‘Create new room’.
  • Choose a corridor, give the room and name and then check the ‘Import room structure’ box.
  • Select ‘import from file’ and save.
  • When the java file upload function has loaded, locate and select the exported room zip file.
  • Click "Import" and the room will be imported into the selected corridor.
