Known Issues and limitations
Description: In IE9, when the SCORM course is set to not open in a new window, the course will display a message "Send and receive user records" and not load the course. We have pinpointed the issue down to the way that IE9 handles the DOCTYPE value. There is currently no simple way for us to remedy this without introducing other side effects for all IE users. While we work on a permanent solution to this issue, there are several workarounds listed below.
Workaround: The best option is to set the course to open in a new window. This can be achieved when uploading a course to select the ‘open in new window’ check box or if the course is already uploaded then click on the course drop down action menu and ‘edit properties’. You can then select the ‘open in new window’ check box and save.
The other option in IE9 is to switch on compatibility mode found in the tools menu. This will force the browser to run as an older version. This however may have side effects for other usage of Fronter and is as such not recommended currently.
Lastly, as this only effects IE9, you can use a different browser such as Firefox or Safari.
