Fronter admin manual updated for the Y12 release. Changes and additions:

• Improvements in copy/export/import rooms
• New tool menu for Play skin
• New personal settings: Time zone and Short cuts
• How to request support
• Enlarged font size for better readability

Instead of one manual for ILP and one for Goals, we have written “ILP and Goals part 1 and 2” (part 1 mainly for administrators and part 2 mainly for teachers).

The manuals are updated to cover the changes in the later releases of Fronter, especially the option to connect tasks to learning goals and to include best practice.

This note will be relevant where the teachers or pupils are currently relying
on a Fronter login to access LGFL resources when outside school.

It is also relevant for schools which have yet to maximise the value from LGFL
resources by rolling out 'USO login access' across their school population.

Flexi-Admin is based around the use of a web form that enables Top Admin Users easier building administration by allowing them to switch ‘on the fly’ between different school installations.
The web form allows the Administrator to access a more restricted view of the building structure; to access one or more particular schools, which can be viewed without having to scroll through the entire building structure. The switching view adds convenience for the Administrator, whilst retaining full Admin rights over the selected viewing area.

The numerous Fronter installations offer various solutions for managing passwords.
Some manage user groups manually and maintain the password in Fronter, while
others transfer user data from an administrative system. In the latter case, separate
services may be responsible for updating and synchronising passwords.

Fronter offers a service which assigns temporary passwords either by Email or by SMS to the users mobile phone.
