What is the purpose of the Documents section (not My Documents) in the Today page? I see you can set the number of documents to be viewed but what are the visible documents related to. I had a teacher who added some documents to the Resources section and they became visible to all the students belonging to the room in their Document section of their Today page. Unfortunately these were documents they should not have seen. I believe I can modify the template for Today to either remove or limit the number of documents viewable so I am just looking to see what its purpose is?

The purpose is to show the latest relevant documents to the user. If you upload documents that you do not want to be visible for the user in the Documents container you have to upload them to a Hidden folder
