Hi Fronter admins,

I would like to know if more organisations have a need for more advanced and userfriendly statistics in Fronter?

Those statistics help to:
- Convince our topmanagement to invest in Fronter
- Set organisationwide and local goals
- Measure the goals and adjust strategy or process

In this period of economic cuts it's usefull to have a tool like this.

Are there more admins/organisations that share this need?

I completely agree with you, I have often been asked how many people are using fronter, and although I can stab in the dark with the statistics, I can never give them an exact answer which makes us admins look stupid!

Totally agre on this. The statistic tools are not user friendly to use and it require alot of clicks and exports to other programs to get anything that's useful. As I use statistics in order to see whats going on in my installation, I get very frustrated when the tools require alot of manual labor which results in that I to seldom have time to do a checkup on the status in my installation.

Also the data that is generated in the system is in some cases totally silly that I have a hard time even imagine that anyone could even have wanted in the first place, and noone at Fronter can even explain why the data is made in the way as it is (for example "Number of members in the community at the time of the repost" under the Community report/export function).

I find it very frustrating that the "Login statistics" function doesn't have an option for login per user or percent of the users in the group that have loged in. These are the two relevant categories that give me as an administrator a possibility to compare my groups activities.

I'd like to get an easy way of seeing who (staff particularly) isn't logging into Fronter so that I can follow up with the individuals concerned (or their managers if necessary)

If you have an entrance hall that all users access on initial logon, then you can use the portfoloio tool to get basic data. It will show by group who has logged on when they last logged on and how many times.

I agree better statistics would help to manage the VLE especially as we have a great deal of shared rooms for clubs etc that i need to manage

Thanks for the great reactions. It's good to hear that you the same need as I have.

Because of the fact that nobody disaggreed, we have to find a way to get the opion from more collegue admins. Based on 5 reactions, I don't think that Fronter starts programming a new statistic function.

Then Fronter can see that this is a high prior need from their customers.

Anybody an idea how we can get the the opion from other admins?
