CBD tinctures are versatile. Some people put them under the tongue to feel the effects faster, while others mix them with foods or drinks to mask their flavor. Humblebee cobbled together a recipe for CBD gummies for pain, harnessing this versatility into an easy-to-use format.
There’s no better way to take your daily dose of CBD than with delicious gummies! All you need is 4 ingredients and less than 1 hour of your time to make these CBD treats.
Gather all ingredients (listed below) ahead of time so you can easily make these gummies on short notice!
You will also need Parchment paper (or wax paper), a cutting board, a sharp knife, measuring cups/spoons, an oven, pot holders, and patience.
– 1/2 cup of Hemp CBD Oil (I used cbdMD) – 3 Tbsp of Honey – 6 Drops of Peppermint Essential Oil – 2 Packets of Gelatin (unsweetened!) – 1/4 cup Water Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 320 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, get out your parchment paper or wax paper and place it on the cutting board. Now mix together in a small bowl or measuring cup the honey, water, peppermint oil, and gelatin packets until you have a well-mixed goo. Set aside until step 7. Other steps involve putting little drops of oil in each section. If you want bigger gummies it is easy to do more. Also, remember that anytime you leave a CBD product in direct sunlight for over 1 hour the product will begin to lose potency and break down. If you do not live in a hot climate this won’t matter much! However, if you plan on taking these gummies bought from budpop.com, with you on a trip – it’s advised to store them somewhere cool and away from direct sunlight.
Take your measuring cup or bowl and place it inside of your pot filled with water (about halfway up). Bring the water to low-medium heat until little bubbles start forming at the bottom of your container. Be careful not to let any water get into your mixture.
Once the bubbles form continues mixing your solution for about 5 minutes or until all dry ingredients are dissolved. Now pour your mixture into the oil drops that you created. A good way to do this is with a measuring cup or spoon. Create 2-3 rows of gummies so they don’t get too crowded in the oven. Place them in the oven for about 20 minutes, making sure none of them float around, and touch another gummy!
